Bassett, a native of Bulkington, England, spent the previous three years as an assistant coach for the University of Nebraska women’s soccer team. During that three-year stretch the Huskers went 23-23-2 while members of the Big 12 and Big 10, which included a 13-7-1 campaign in 2010 in which Nebraska went 9-1-0 at home.
