Dany O’Rourke is in his first season as men’s soccer assistant coach at East Stroudsburg University under head coach Rob Berkowitz.
O’Rourke is a former collegiate goalkeeper at Keystone College and was previously graduate assistant for the men’s and women’s teams at Frostburg State (Md.) during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
He was an All-CSAC honorable mention selection at Keystone in 2010 and the team’s defensive MVP in 2011. He helped Keystone to three straight conference tournament appearances.
O’Rourke also has club and semi-pro professional playing experience for the Pocono Snow and Electric City Shock in the NPSL.
A native of Ireland, he competed at the youth level for Dundrum AFC, St. Joseph Boys AFC and Cherry Orchard FC in Dublin.
O’Rourke holds two coaching licenses from the Football Association of Ireland, including goalkeeper certification.
