David Stockton is in his first season with the Tigers after joining Pacific in February of 2017.

Stockton joins Pacific after spending six seasons with Cal State Monterey Bay. Stockton helped coach the Otters to an 11-5-3 record his third year including four shutout victories. Prior to joining CSUMB, Stockton served as an assistant at Missouri State University where he was involved in all facets of coaching and specialized in goalkeeper training. Under Stockton’s tutelage, Missouri Valley took the Missouri Valley Conference regular season championship in 2009 and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in ten years.

Prior to joining Missouri State, Stockton served as an assistant at Midwestern State (Texas) University where he led the Mustangs to a NCAA Division II Final Four appearance in 2007. As a player at Midwestern, the goalkeeper led the Mustangs to the NCAA Division II national quarterfinals two times and accumulated a 51-17-6 record over four seasons. Stockton was also an All–Midwest Region first team goalkeeper as a senior and earned the Soccer Alumni Award for Leadership and Integrity in 2004.

Stockton, who earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Midwestern State in 2006, played professionally in the Pacific Coast Soccer League and Premier Development League, and was an all star in the PCSL in 2004. He spent the 2005 and 2006 season with the DFW Tornados of the PDL.

Stockton is a native of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
