Devon McTavish joins the men’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant for the 2013 season. McTavish comes to Drexel after a six-year career in Major League Soccer with D.C. United.
A defender, McTavish made 83 appearances during his six seasons in Washington. A regular starter beginning with the 2007 season, McTavish notched his first career goal in 2008 in a CONCACAF Champions’ Cup game against Harbour View out of Jamaica.
McTavish graduated from West Virginia University. A native of Winchester, Va., McTavish scored 13 collegiate goals including five game-winners.
