In just his third season at Rider Drayson Hounsome was named the 2010 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Last year he guided the 2011 team to the program’s best record since 2004. Hounsome took over a program that won just two games in 2008 and has won 25 games over the last three years, including a 16-5-3 home record. The 2007 Northeast Regional Coach of the Year, Hounsome came to Rider from the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University, where he finished the 2007 season with a program record 17 wins and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament.
