Felipe Arias joins the Dustdevils men’s and women’s soccer programs this fall with more than 15 years coaching experience and collegiate playing experience. Arias will reunited and team up with his brother, Texas A&M International head men’s and women’s soccer coach Claudio Arias, for the first time since the pair played together at Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn.
As a coach with a decade and a half of experience in Florida and Maine, Arias has coached both boys’ and girls’ soccer in a premier club and high school level.
Before relocating to Laredo, Arias served as a director of coaching for the Central Maine United Soccer Club’s Premier level. He holds coaching certifications with the U.S. Soccer Federation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Splitting time with coaching, he worked as an individual and group counselor and support group coordinator.
