Garrett McLaughlin is in his third year with the UMHB Men’s Soccer program. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from UMHB. The Belton, Texas, native was a four-year soccer letterman at Lipscomb University (Division I) in Nashville. He served as captain for three seasons, starting in 66 of 72 games played and helping Lipscomb to its first appearance in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. McLaughlin scored 10 goals and recorded eight assists in his tenure. He was also a three-year starter for the Nashville Metros of the Premier Development League.
