Heather Noll is entering her fifth season as the head women’s volleyball coach at Lake Forest College and her ninth year as a collegiate head coach.
Noll led the 2015 Foresters to a 5-5 record in Midwest Conference play, giving the team at least a .500 record in the league for the seventh straight season and for the 21st time in the last 23 years. Junior Brittany Avonts was a First Team All-MWC selection for the third year in a row and freshman Grace Larson earned Second Team honors.
Lake Forest has posted a 25-15 mark in MWC play during Noll’s four years as head coach. Six different Foresters have been named All-MWC and the team has earned 20 Academic All-MWC honors in that time.
Noll played collegiately for two years each at Indian Hills Community College and Coe College, which along with Lake Forest is a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. She was a two-year IIAC All-Academic Team honoree at Coe and, as a senior, was the team’s captain and Most Valuable Player.
In addition to her role as head volleyball coach, Noll serves as the advisor for Lake Forest College’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
