Coach Jacob White is looking for a strong start to his coaching career with the Northeastern State University Riverhawks, as 2014 will be his first with the team. White has experience coaching and playing, as he previously as coached for Coffeyville Community College and Louisburg High School. While competing in college for Emporia State University, White helped the Hornets get to the NCAA DII National Championship game in 2009, where he was a starting 2nd baseman. His senior year, he had a .340 batting average with 54 hits and 24 RBIs.
