Jamie Darvill joined the Loyola men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach n August 2015. During his collegiate career with the greyhounds, he was a two-time conference “Player of the Year” and a candidate for the Hermann Trophy Award. Darvill led the Greyhounds to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances as they spent the 2008 season in the nations top ten and captured two conference championships. He led the program as team captain his senior year and still ranks in the top ten in program history in a number of offensive categories. Since his collegiate career, Darvill has spent the last six years playing professionally in the United States and England. He currently plays for the Baltimore Blast, where he won the MISL Championship in 2013. He has also represented Great Britain internationally in Sweden. In May 2011, Darvill accepted a coaching role in the youth academy of Chelsea Football Club where he spent two years while pursuing his UEFA coaching qualifications. Darvill is the owner and operator of Tempo Soccer, who deliver elite training and camps throughout Maryland.
