Jason Gjertsen returns to coach at TCC where he was a 2-time NWAACC All-Star in both 1999 & 2000, as well as a member of the 2000 NWAACC Championship soccer team. Gjertsen was named MVP of the 2000 NWAACC Championship Tournament and scored 13 goals in the 2000 season. After his career at TCC, Jason went to play at Evergreen State College from 2002-2004. While at Evergreen, Jason was First Team, All Cascade Conference in 2002. In 2004, he was selected to Second Team, All Cascade Conference. He helped lead Evergreen to a NAIA Region One Championship in 2004, where the school finished 5th at the National Tournament, best in school history.
