The former Golden Bear forward (2004-07) joined the Cal coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in early 2013, after playing professionally for FSV 63 Luckenwalde (2010-11) in Germany and Bayamon FC in Puerto Rico (2008-09). He was promoted to assistant coach on May 1, 2014 and enters his third season on Kevin Grimes’ staff.
Javier now an assistant coach who oversees training sessions, player development, recruiting for the program, and overall program development.
