Centre alumnus Jay Hoffman has been the head coach of the Centre College women’s soccer program since 2004. Coach Hoffman has spent his time trying to build a program that is based on high expectations, long lasting traditions and continual motivation. His passion for Centre stems from his belief in the school and all that it did for him. He could not be happier with the state of the program and the direction it continues to go. The highlight of his career came in the 2014 season when the Colonels made a deep run into the NCAA Tournament and went to the Elite Eight. They were six minutes from reaching the Final Four. He truly believes that high expectations and team building activities have a significant role in the team’s success. The past few years have been amazing for both the team and his players.
