Jeff Freeman enters his sixth season overall with the Fighting Illini and second as the soccer program’s associate head coach in 2016. Illinois has reached at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in three of the five years he has been on staff, highlighted by a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2013. Freeman previously coached for seven years at the University of Miami (FL) and five seasons at Missouri State University. He also currently serves as a clinician at the NSCAA Convention each year.
