Jeff Whitfield is now in his sixth season as an assistant coach with Furman’s baseball program. In addition to coaching the squad’s catchers and hitters, he also serves as recruiting coordinator. Whitfield attended Lander University in Greenwood, where he started in 190 games for the Senators over four seasons and served as team captain in 2004.
