Jess is married to Brazilian national Claudio Cazé and has two children, Zeph, born in 2008 and Keelie born in 2010. Jess and Claudio lived in Brazil from 2004-2010 and actually operated a surfing school for 3 years among other adventures. Jess grew up in Corvallis and graduated from Oregon State in 2004 with a BS in Exercise Sports Science after transferring her third year from U Montana. She has always enjoyed teaching and coaching and found that there was as much or more joy in watching her players succeed than having her own personal success on the field.
