Robert Morris University Illinois Director of Athletics Megan Smith Eggert has announced the hiring of Jessica Gregory as the new Head Women’s Volleyball Coach for the 2015 season. Coach Gregory’s playing and coaching experiences date back over the last two decades and she was most recently the Director of Midway Momentum Volleyball Club in Burbank, Illinois. There she was responsible for all practices, tournaments, and administration of the program. In addition, she also filled the roles of tier trainer, skill-specific session trainer, and mental toughness training.
Before starting the Midway Momentum VBC in 2013, Gregory was the assistant coach and head strength trainer for nationally ranked Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She helped lead the Yellow Jackets to an impressive season, as they advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The 2012 Yellow Jackets were also undefeated in conference play and nationally ranked.
