Jhojan Obando was promoted to assistant coach on Feb. 18, 2014 after two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach. He will assist with all program duties and continue to work with the teams goalkeepers. Obando played in 44 career matches and made 42 starts as a goalkeeper at Providence, and recorded 13 clean sheets. He was one of four goalkeepers invited to the 2012 Adidas MLS Player Combine and most recently played for the Des Moines Menace in the Premier Development League.
