Jonathan Holt enters his fifth season as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Flagler. During his tenure Holt has seen four of his pitchers get drafted. Holt graduated from the University of Tampa in 2010. He helped lead the Spartans to the 2007 national title. Normally a closer, Holt started and pitched a complete game in the national championship game against Columbus State University. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The Cleveland Indians,selected Holt in the fifth round of the 2007 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. He spent the next four seasons in their organization before embarking on a coaching career.
