Jonathon Stanley, who started his collegiate career at attack before achieving all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference first team status as a central defender, has joined Wytse Molenaar’s men’s soccer coaching staff at Albion College.
Originally from Lindenhurst, Ill., Stanley helped the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh defense record the 21st-best goals against average in Division III in 2014. Stanley was involved up top throughout his career, finishing with 15 goals and six assists. He had a flair for the dramatic, scoring seven game-winning goals. The Titans advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships twice during Stanley’s collegiate career.
In addition to assisting Molenaar with summer camps at UW-Oshkosh, Stanley got his start in the coaching profession in February as the head coach for the FC Green Bay club.
Stanley holds an E National coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation.
