Julius Pertillar is in his first season as assistant women’s soccer coach at Holy Cross in 2014. He serves as the team’s goalkeepers coach. Pertillar is the current director and owner of JPro Soccer, which provides soccer training to individuals and teams, and has a special focus on goalkeeping. Pertillar was the former goalkeeper coach for the men’s varsity soccer team at Brooks Academy in North Andover, Mass. He has also coached a number of youth soccer clubs in the New England area including Galway Rover FC in Cohasset, Mass. and Amaral Soccer Academy in Western Massachusetts. Pertillar played goalkeeper for Salem State University and led the Vikings to several conference championships as well as one Division III elite eight appearance. He graduated from Salem State in 2002 and signed his first professional contract with the Rhode Island Stingrays. He also played for the New Hampshire Phantoms as well as the Connecticut Wolves during his professional career.
