Kamal Haruna is in his third season as the head coach of the women’s soccer team at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is the second head coach of the women’s soccer program’s history and the first since John Jay added back women’s soccer to its list of sports in 2010 after a five year hiatus.  Under Haruna’s guidance, the program has already earned elite status amongst the City University of New York Athletic Conference.  Through the first two season, John Jay has made the conference playoffs both times, and went to the CUNYAC women’s soccer championship in 2011 where the Bloodhounds tied the College of Staten Island.
