Kaveh Varghai, a 2016 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, joined the men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2016 season.
Hailing from Beachwood, Ohio, Varghai played on the men’s soccer team for three seasons, appearing in six games over his career for the Spartans. In 2015, he served as a student assistant coach, helping the squad go 13-4-1 and finish second in the University Athletic Association standings.
In addition to his duties with the soccer team, Varghai is currently a graduate student at Case Western Reserve, and is expected to receive his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2017. He received his undergraduate degree from CWRU as a Biomedical Engineering major with a Pre-Health focus.
