Kern is the owner of an NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma. She is also currently working for the second straight year as a goalkeeper coach for the North Carolina Olympic Development Program. Kim Kern begins her third season as an assistant coach at NC State in the fall of 2015. She spent the 2012 season as the Director of Operations for the women’s soccer program.
