Kolby Banker joined the Islanders coaching staff in August 2014. Banker comes to the Island University after four years as a player at St. Bonaventure University in New York. In his four-year career, the Grand Island, N.Y., native played in 66 games on the back line for the Bonnies, making 61 starts over that period. He also played one season with the National Premier Soccer League’s FC Buffalo in the summer of 2013. He helped the team win eight games in the 12-game season and finish second in the league.
