The 2014 season will be Kris Hazard’s seventh season at American University and second as associate head coach. At American, Hazard has been instrumental in the Eagles’ two Patriot League Regular Season Championships (2008 and 2011) and their back-to-back-to-back-to-back appearances in the Patriot League Championship Games in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. AU has registered a 26-10-8 conference record in Hazard’s five campaigns.
Hazard graduated from Wittenberg with a Bachelor of Arts in speech/English. While at Wittenberg, Hazard was a four-year member of the soccer team and served as team captain. In his senior season, he was a North Coast Athletic Conference Second-Team selection and was honored as the team MVP.
