In 2011, she was the only freshman in the nation to be named to the NCAA All-America Team by the NSCAA, capping off a remarkable year in which DBU finished the year ranked No. 15 in the country. As a sophomore in 2012, Sedwick was named a Second Team NCAA All-American by Daktronics, as well as a Third Team All-American selection by the NCCAA. As a junior in 2013, she earned NCCAA First Team All-American honors. Along with her All-American honors, she also has the distinct honor of being named the Heartland Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2011 and the league’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.

In 2014, Sedwick was named to the NCAA Division II Capital One First Team Academic All-America Team. The prestigious group is selected by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) and recognizes the top performing players in the nation both on the field and in the classroom. Sedwick was twice named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team during her career and is also a two-time selection to the Heartland Conference’s President’s Honor Roll.

Sedwick graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Theological Studies and has been hired as the head coach for the soccer program at First Baptist Academy in Dallas.
