Lindsey Williams enters her second year at the University of Evansville during 2013 season and began employment August 1, 2012. Williams has obtained the NSCAA Level 2 Diploma, NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeper Diploma and USSF National “E” Coaching License.
Williams helped the Aces claimed a Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title in her first year on the staff, as UE finished 4-1-1 in league play during the 2012 season. In addition, freshman goalkeeper Simone Busby was named the MVC Goalkeeper of the Year and was an All-MVC First Team selection under Williams’s guidance. Evansville allowed just two goals in six conference games, while posting four shutouts, as Busby led the conference with a 0.32 goals against average, a .935 save percentage and four clean sheets, and ranked in the top 10 nationally in save percentage (.918) and goals against average (0.48).
