Luke Gibson will begin his 3rd season in 2016 as the Highlanders’ 11th Men’s Soccer Coach in program history.
Gibson has most recently been the head coach at William Tennent High School in Bucks County and led the Panthers to the 2013 PIAA District One Class 3A soccer quarterfinals with playoff victories against Upper Dublin and Souderton. Throughout his four years at William Tennent Gibson has accumulated 30 wins, finishing the 2013 season with a 10-8-3 record and a 6-5-3 record in the highly competitive Suburban One National Conference.
Prior to William Tennent, he was an assistant at Lancaster Bible College for two years. In his second year at Lancaster the team turned in the most wins (17) in school history and made their first NCCAA national tournament appearance.
Before that, he was head boys’ varsity coach for two years at Donegal High School, where he helped lead the team to its first district playoff appearance in 17 years.
A graduate of Millersville, he currently lives in Langhorne with his wife and two daughters.
