Luke Green comes to the Purple Knights with a wealth of experience both on and off then soccer field. Having completed his BA(Hns) in Sports Coaching & Performance at the University of Cumbria in the UK, he has been working throughout the US with UK Elite Soccer. During the past five years with UKE he has served in many different capacities working on both local Community Soccer programs and a national level with Global brand partnerships. Green was also part of the coaching staff for the first soccer team to represent the US at the prestigious Beijing Cup in China, finishing third.
Prior to arriving in the US, Luke worked within a number of coaching organizations in Manchester, UK from the age of 15. Here he began his coaching education with the English and Welsh Football Associations, securing his UEFA B license in the process. Since being in the US he has worked towards his NSCAA and USSF qualifications.
Green will be providing the team with assistance on the field coaching, combined with the overall operations of the program to help establish and develop the processes needed within a successful Division II program.
