Marvin Prestridge joined the Hendrix College baseball as the pitching coach in October of 2012.
In his first year, Prestridge’s staff broke the program record in earned run average, walks per nine innings and shutouts.
Prestridge was a three-time All-American Southwestern Conference hurler for the University of Texas at Dallas. During his senior season, he tied the Comets’ record with nine wins in a season and was named the ASC Pitcher of the Year.
