Correia was hired as the head men’s soccer coach in August of 2017. Correia, who led Daniel Webster for six seasons, built a highly successful program during his tenure. The two-time New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Coach of the Year, led the Eagles to three straight NECC titles, and three straight NCAA Division III Tournament berths, which included the school’s first tournament win in the program’s history this past season.
As head coach, Correia compiled an impressive 70-39-7 (.603) record over his six seasons, while coaching 26 all-conference selections, including the New England Collegiate Conference top goalkeeper four times, and the conference player of the year, once.
A native of Dracut, Mass., Correia is a 2010 graduate of UMass Dartmouth where he played four seasons of varsity soccer for the Corsairs while serving as team captain his junior and senior years. In addition, Correia has several years of experience working youth camps and clinics and is a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma recipient.
