Matt Mercurio has been with the Florida Tech coaching staff for seven years, and carried many duties with the Panthers. Coach Mercurio oversees recruiting, strength and conditioning, and coaches the infield players. Working with his infielders and the defensive scheme, the Panthers finished with a .966 fielding percentage, and the second-lowest error total with 71; both of which placed second for the Sunshine State Conference. Mercurio also relays communications to his players, as he is the Third Base Coach on game days.
