Matt Garrett is entering his eighth season as head coach of Gettysburg’s women’s soccer team in 2014. Garrett is the third head coach in the 26-year history of the program and owns a 70-45-13 (.598 winning percentage) record through his first seven campaigns, including a 44-22-4 mark in the highly competitive Centennial Conference. The Bullets have won a dozen matches and have competed in the postseason in each of the last four seasons. Last fall, the team went 12-2-4 and 7-2-1 in conference play. Gettysburg set a program record with 13 shutouts and finished ninth nationally in goals against average (0.42). The Bullets advanced to the conference semifinals where they were eliminated in a shootout.
