Georgia College Head Soccer Coach Hope Clark announced in July that Matt Seib will join Bobcat Nation as assistant coach for the 2016/2017 season.

Seib comes to Georgia College from Valdosta State University, where he spent a season as graduate assistant coach for the Blazers. Seib was involved in all facets of the women’s soccer program at VSU, assisting to plan training sessions while serving as primary goalkeeper trainer. He also worked closely with the coaching staff to review game film for scouting and for tactical breakdowns with members of the team. Seib was also heavily involved in the recruiting process, including off-campus efforts at college showcases and I.D. camps.

He played four seasons at Berry College, helping lead the squad to a pair of conference titles while landing on the All-Southern Athletic Association Teams twice. He graduated Cum Laude from Berry with a degree in environmental science in 2014.

Seib owns a USSF National “C” Soccer Coaching License, a USSF National “D” Coaching License and NSCAA Goalkeeping Levels 1 and 2.
