McCallie Jones is entering her first year as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Emory & Henry College. Jones comes to E&H from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland where she spent two seasons as an assistant coach.
While at Goucher, Jones has assisted in all aspects of the Gophers’ women’s soccer program and has served in roles as recruiting coordinator and academic advisor. She has worked extensively in player development, team operations and fundraising all while attending graduate school. Jones also has coaching experience with the Baltimore Celtic and Lutherville-Timonium Soccer Clubs in the Baltimore area and the Ralph Lundy Soccer Academy, United Soccer Academy, West Ashley High School and Charleston Soccer Academy from Charleston, South Carolina.
Jones was a four-year letterwinner at the College of Charleston where she scored 11 goals and 12 assists in 65 career matches played. She finished her career with over 4,000 minutes played. Jones also played from 2010-15 with the Charlotte Lady Eagles of the USL W-League and was named an all-conference player in 2013.
Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication with minors in coaching and psychology from the College of Charleston in 2014. She will earn a Master of Education with emphases in athletic program leadership and administration from Goucher this spring. Jones is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and holds a USSF D License from the United States Soccer Federation.
