Megan Matteck, formerly Megan Bibilone, became the new assistant soccer coach in August, 2013 after serving two seasons as the graduate assistant coach.

Matteck assisted in all areas of the soccer program the past two years including coaching, recruiting, organizing practice sessions, overseeing study hall and maintaining the social media network for TWU soccer. She helped the Pioneers to a successful season both on and off the field last fall. TWU qualified for the Lone Star Conference Championship postseason tournament for the fourth time in school history and set a new team grade point average with a 3.566 that included an incredible six perfect 4.0’s. In Spring 2013, the soccer team had a 3.408 team GPA with five student-athletes earning 4.0’s.

A four-year letterwinner at Midwestern State, Matteck graduated in 2009 with bachelor’s in biology. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in exercise physiology.

Matteck also coaches Aces Futbol Clug (AFC) and assists with the North Texas Olympic Development Program. She served as an assistant coach at Xpress Soccer club in Wichita Falls, TX, from 2009-2010. Matteck worked at the 2007 Midwestern State Summer Kid Camp and TWU Elite Camp in 2011 and 2012.
