Michele Canning is in her fifth season as Head Coach of the New York University women’s soccer team. In her first four campaigns, the Violets have posted three winnings seasons, made two postseason appearances and compiled an overall 42-27-6 (.600) record.
Last season, NYU went 11-6-2 overall, 3-2-2 in the University Athletic Association (UAA) and earned the program’s first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. It was only the second Tournament appearance for the Violets, who qualified as UAA Champions in 2002.
