Michelyne Pinard is in her 13th season as the Williams women head soccer coach. The Ephs 3-2 win over Middlebury in the 2009 NESCAC title contest was Pinard’s 100th career win at Williams. In 2014, the Ephs are 20-1-1, the first 20-win season in program history, and have advanced to the national semifinals for the second time in program history and the first time since 2008. Under Pinard, the Ephs have qualified for the NESCAC Tournament all 13 years while compiling an overall record of 177-41-25 (.780) and 88-23-12 (.764) in NESCAC play. Pinard has coached NESCAC Players of the Year in three of the last nine years (Sara Wild – 2010, Brianna Wolfson – 2009, and Gabrielle Woodson – 2007). Williams is 20-7-1 (.732) in NCAA Tournament play during Pinard’s tenure, having advanced to the quarterfinals four times and the national semifinals twice. Overall, Williams has reached the NCAA Tournament nine times in her 13 seasons in Williamstown.
