First year head coach of the Niagara men’s soccer team, Eric Barnes has announced the hiring of Miguel Rodrigues as an assistant coach with the Purple Eagle men’s soccer program. Rodrigues was most recently an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program at Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri this past season.He served as the assistant coach for the women’s squad at his alma mater, the University of Missouri—Kansas City, from 2011 to 2012. Before being assigned as the women’s assistant coach at UMKC, he worked as the Director of Soccer Operations for the men’s program from 2010 to 2011.
