Mike Twardoski a former professional player with four major league organizations, assumed the Emory head coach position prior to the 2000 season. Twardoski has guided the Eagles to three NCAA Division III World Series appearances, three NCAA regional championships, seven NCAA tournament berths and eight conference championships.
In 13 seasons at the helm of the Eagles, Twardoski has a career record of 389-179-1 (.685). He has guided the Eagles to six seasons of 30 or more wins including a school-record 43 truimphs during the 2007 campaign.
