Paige Burnett is in her first year as the volunteer assistant for the women’s soccer program. Her main responsibilities include, training the goalkeepers, day-to-day operations, film study, and recruiting.
Burnett was a four-year starter in front of the net at Northeastern University, where she was a two-time Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) champion and 2014 first team All-CAA selection. After setting the Northeastern single-season records for shutouts (16) and goals-against average (0.377) in 2014, Burnett was also recognized on the All-Mid Atlantic and NSCAA Scholar All-East Region first teams.
A native of Placentia, California, Burnett played professionally for the Boston Breakers of the National Women’s Soccer League in 2015, spending time with both the full and reserve teams. This past fall she served at the goalkeeper coach for Simmons College, where she helped the Sharks to a nine-win season, including an 8-3 mark in the Greater Northeast Athletic Conference.
