Paul Grant was named the third head coach in the history of ETBU women’s soccer in early August of 2007. Over the past six seasons Grant is already approaching the all-time winningest coach in the programs history.
After two years, however, Grant had rebuilt the program into a playoff contender again in the American Southwest Conference. In 2009, the Tigers returned to the postseason for the first time since 2006, and Grant was named the ASC Coach of the Year in just his third season on the job. Grant led the team to its second ASC Tournament appearance under his direction in 2011, beginning the year with a record eight-game unbeaten streak.
Over the last six seasons Grant has qualified for the conference tournament 3 out of the last four years.
He has placed several of his players on first team conference with Danica Saxon earning All-American Regional Honors. Grant players have excelled in the classroom as well last year placing 16 players on the Dean’s list.
