Paul Kohorn was hired as an assistant coach for the Shorewomen in the summer of 2012. An accomplished youth and high school coach, Kohorn most recently served as the varsity boys and girls soccer coach at Lisle High School in Illinois and as assistant women’s soccer coach at Aurora University. Kohorn began as head coach at Lisle during the 2003-04 academic year, the programs’ first year of existence, and quickly brought both to excellence. He guided the boys team to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 1A State Championship in 2010 and Interstate Eight Conference Championships in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, his girls team won regional and sectional championships and placed fourth in the state. He was named the IHSA’s Girls Soccer Coach of the Year in 2010 and compiled an overall combined record of 171-125-24 through the conclusion of the 2012 girls season.
