Kazlas comes to Newbury from Daniel Webster College, where he served as the Head Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Coach since 2015. Prior to Daniel Webster, Kazlas served as the Assistant Men’s Volleyball Coach at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as the Assistant Women’s Varsity Coach and Head Men’s Club Volleyball Coach at Assumption College. He also served as an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at the United States Coast Guard Academy from 2012-2013. Kazlas has also worked several camps and clinics in the past, including the Assumption College Clinic and the University of Texas Volleyball Camp.
Kazlas graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While there, he was a four-year member of their men’s volleyball team. Kazlas was named MVP of the team in the 2008-2009 season and team captain in the 2009-2010 season.
