Ptah Myers enters his fifth as the head coach of the Philadelphia University men’s soccer team in 2014 after becoming the program’s 12th coach in its 61-year history on Feb. 16, 2010. In his four seasons at the helm of the Rams, Myers owns a record of 38-29-9—the fifth highest win total in program history—and led the team to three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament appearances. Eight players have been named to the All-CACC men’s soccer team. The 2013 season was the Rams’ most successful season under Myers as the team posted a 12-7-2 overall record. Philadelphia defeated fifth-ranked Post on Nov. 9, 1-0, to secure its first CACC championship. Defender Angelo Dambalas was named to the All-CACC first team; All-East Region Men’s Soccer second team; and National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Division II Men’s All-East Region third team, while forward Jordan Lynch and midfielder Victor Chagonda were All-CACC second team selections.
