Renata Peixoto enters into her second season as Thomas University’s Athletic Assistant Coach for the women’s soccer team.During her collegiate playing career, Peixoto spent four years as a varsity letter winner for Union College’s women’s soccer team. She collected 41 goals and 55 assists in her 72 games as a Bulldog midfielder. In 2009, Peixoto led Union to the AAC regular season and tournament championships, making an appearance in the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship tournament. While at Union, Peixoto received First Team All-AAC honors on three occasions (2008, 2009, and 2010). In 2010, the Bulldogs repeated as regular season AAC champions as Peixoto was named to the NSCAA/Performance Subaru Women’s NAIA All-East Region team.
