A four-year starter for Arcadia University, Ryan Lantzy has been named an assistant coach for the University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer team. Lantzy has spent the past two seasons working for the Knights, assisting the program to a combined record of 20-15-7. A native of Phoenixville, Pa., Lantzy will have a specific focus on the players between the pipes for the Red and Blue.

A goalkeeper himself at Arcadia, Lantzy amassed a 32-31-5 overall record, recording 20 shutouts with a career 1.28 goals-against average and a save percentage of .739, leading the Knights into the postseason in three of his four seasons. As a junior, Lantzy earned first-team All-Commonwealth Conference honors after posting a record of 8-7-2 with four shutouts and a career-best 1.08 GAA.
