Ryan Spears is in his second season as an assistant coach for the ACU women’s soccer team. A coaching veteran with over 15 years expertise, Spears was hired by head coach Casey Wilson in the summer of 2011. A former four-year collegiate player, Spears came to ACU from Little Rock, Ark., where he was both a head coach for Bryant Soccer Club and a lead staff coach for the Arkansas State Soccer Association. Over the past half-decade Spears also has coached girls varsity players at Arkadelphia (Ark.) and Tomball (Texas) high schools and the men’s club team at Bishops University based in Lennoxville, Quebec. He continues to coach youth soccer in Abilene.
