Kirschenbaum comes to Virginia Wesleyan college for his first year in 2016 as an assistant coach after coaching at Marist College.

Kirschenbaum lead the Red Foxes to a 6-3-1 conference record during the 2015-2016 campaign. Kirschenbaum spent one year at Marist before accepting a position with Virginia Wesleyan a top DIII program in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Before Marsit, Kirschenbaum coached At PSA an elite club team across Long Island and ran various camps with players ranging from 4-18 years of age. Also during his tenure, Kirschenbaum oversaw the Lynbrook Soccer Club’s Academy Program, which consisted of the club’s boys’ and girls’ U8 and U9 teams. Additionally, he was in charge of designing the program’s curriculum as well as all of the training and coaching. Kirschenbaum played soccer at SUNY Cortland, where he was a two-time SUNYAC All-Academic Team honoree. He graduated from Cortland with a B.S. in psychology with summa cum laude honors.
